Are You Considering Downsizing?

Are you considering downsizing/rightsizing? It can be scary and exhilarating all at the same time. So many times I have heard folks say they just don't know where to start.

I had the privilege of working with a client this past Monday and where we started was going through her house and putting stickers on items she is taking with her and ones she intends to sell in an estate sale. Then I took pictures of some of the items she intends to sell to my estate sale guy to see if it was a sale he would be interested in doing for her. Of course he was.

We will continue to do some work together with the stickers. She will do some purging on her own. We will do some packing together and we will leave a lot of it to the estate sale company.

Due to the amazing seller's market we will list her home, with all of her personal belongings in the home. It will get under contract quickly due to it's condition, where we will price it and it's location. Once it is under contract, the estate sale company will come in and do their thing in a matter of 3 weeks. By that time we will be pretty close to closing and she will be on her way to the next chapter.
